Explore Institute was founded by three people who share the same passion for teaching. The bright idea of putting up a new school came one afternoon over coffee and simple conversations about past teaching experiences. How it was only through teaching that they found fulfillment, and cannot imagine doing anything else. The idea of formulating an efficient method of teaching Korean students started until the conversation grew into a bigger idea, hence, Explore Institute Online. Rowena Mendoza (Teacher Ro), started teaching Music and Arts to foreign students eleven years ago. It was one of her Korean students that asked her to venture into teaching English and from there, she attended seminars on how to become an effective English teacher. Aside from it becoming her “brea and butter”, teaching English is something that she enjoys doing. She became Head Teacher of the Art’s Department in MIC (Montecello International College) in 2007, where she crossed paths with Teacher Heidee. She then became School Coordinator of T.A.L.K Academy, where she organized school programs, trained teachers, and did research on different methods of teaching the English language to foreign students. Heidee Austria (Teacher Heidee), never knew that she would land a teaching career when she applied for a nursing position at MIC (Montecello International College) in 2006. Earning a perfect score in the TOEIC examination, she was made Head Teacher and was given the title, “TOEIC Master” by her co-teachers and students. She went on further with her teaching career sheen she worked hand-in-hand with Teacher Ro in the Research Department of T.A.L.K Academy and constantly giving top quality teaching performance in Grammar, TOEIC, Pronunciation, WRITING, etc.. She is currently an instructor of IELTS (International English Language Testing System). Michael Angelo Mendoza (Teacher Mike), may be the youngest instructor in the University of the Cordilleras in 2008. Among all the courses he taught, he enjoyed teaching Presentation Skills where he went deeper in teaching English and Public Speaking. An impressive programmer and web developer, he became the youngest Project Head of IT ALL Inc., and in a month’s time became the Project Director of the company. After a year of work in Manila, he went back home to his hometown and worked as a web developer at the University of the Cordilleras.
